At CGM Care, we value our relationship with our users and respect your privacy. We are committed to complying with all federal and state Do Not Call (DNC) regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the National Do Not Call Registry rules.
This Do Not Call Policy details how we handle call restrictions and how you can request to be placed on our internal Do Not Call list.
1. What is the Do Not Call Registry?
The National Do Not Call Registry was established by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to give consumers a choice regarding whether they receive telemarketing calls. Registration on the National DNC Registry generally restricts businesses from calling you for telemarketing purposes unless they have your prior express consent or an established business relationship.
2. Our Internal Do Not Call List
CGM Care maintains a comprehensive internal Do Not Call list. If you do not want to receive telemarketing calls or SMS text messages from us, you may request that your telephone number be placed on our internal DNC list. Once registered on our internal DNC list, we will ensure that your number is removed from our marketing campaign dials.
3. How to Submit a DNC Request
You can request to be placed on our internal DNC list through any of the following methods:
- Email: Send an email to hello@cgmcare.us. Please include "Do Not Call Request" in the subject line, and provide your full name, email address, and the specific telephone number(s) you wish to restrict.
- Text Message Opt-Out: If you receive an SMS or MMS message from CGM Care, you can opt out immediately by replying with the word "STOP", "QUIT", or "UNSUBSCRIBE". You will receive a single automated text confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further marketing messages will be sent to that number.
- Phone Request: If you receive a call from one of our specialists or partners, you can verbally state that you wish to be added to our Do Not Call list.
4. Timeframe for Processing DNC Requests
We process DNC requests as quickly as possible. While federal regulations allow up to thirty (30) days to process and implement Do Not Call requests, we make every effort to remove your number from our systems within 7 to 10 business days. Text message opt-outs (replying "STOP") are processed instantly via automated systems.
5. Important Exceptions and Information
Please note the following important details regarding your request:
- Affiliate Partners: Because CGM Care is a marketing referral resource, we share your data (upon your consent) with third-party DME suppliers, pharmacies, and insurance providers who help fulfill your order. If your details have already been referred to a partner, you may also need to request DNC status directly from that partner. We will make reasonable efforts to relay your opt-out request to partners who received your lead.
- Specific Numbers: Your DNC request is specific to the exact telephone number(s) you provide. If you have multiple phone numbers (e.g., home and mobile), you must request DNC status for each number individually.
- Consent Renewal: If you submit a new eligibility questionnaire or contact request on www.cgmcare.us in the future after requesting DNC status, you will be granting fresh consent, which will override your previous DNC status for that number.
6. Employee Training and Enforcement
We train all customer support and marketing teams to respect DNC requests and maintain compliance with TCPA guidelines. We periodically scrub our active contact lists against state and federal registries, as well as our internal DNC database, to prevent accidental solicitations.
